Feelings no one asked for.
The one I initially avoided,
became one that I absolutely adored.
Newfound yet not unfamiliar to the excitement.
At this point, I am not ready to explain how left everything went.
Our bond was so organic and rent-free,
yet dissipation was taxing at my emotional expense.
You initiated & retracted all that we were,
I guess moving forward my heart will never be too sure.
You proclaim to feel energies,
yet never picked up on the most genuine one.
I hear your apology,
But what has been done is done.
